My photographic interests are in women and urban decay. I love women because they are soft and feminine, which is exactly opposite of the industrial textures I like to take pictures of. I have a fascination of the sexploitation era of the seventies. I stayed in a lot of Motor Lodges as a kid so I'm guessing the imagery stuck with me in my storytelling and photos. The props from this time period are cheap to buy from thrift stores too.

Time creates fascinating layers of complexity upon urban leftovers like abandoned buildings. I love the treasure hunt aspect of finding these urban images. Exploration and adventure have a lot to do with the satisfaction I get from the pictures I discover out and about in the field.

Now that I have put the time in and chased the dream of being a full-time filmmaker, I am free to get back to what I feel I should be doing with my life. I am happiest when I am with a still camera in a new place or with a favorite muse. It doesn't really matter what I am working on at the time I just enjoy the whole creative process as an individual artist. Trying to achieve a vision with a cast and crew is a much different experience for me. I'm back to feeling what I am doing is important again.

I'm working hard to create projects that people will want to see. Please stay tuned to this web site to follow my progress, sales, and events.

I shoot with Canon cameras. I was a Nikon user before digital came along. Nikon wasn't keeping up so I made the switch. Canon has been great for me ever since I made the decision to switch to them.

II have been a loyal Ford owner since my first truck in high school.

I am of Scottish and Irish heritage. Does my red hair give it away?
