When I was very young, I spent a lot of time playing in my sandbox. I am in my mid-forties now and I look back along my life and it's basically been a series of sandboxes. I've explored all types of artistic mediums including drawing, painting, sculpture, photo, video, writing etc. I have enjoyed my photography most of all. I seem to keep coming back to it after leaving whatever "sandbox" I played in.

When I started to pursue a career as an Artist I discovered I didn't feel I had lived enough of life to tell an interesting story. My life journey led me to Los Angeles basically to try and find a way to finance a life as an Artist. I wanted to get paid to be creative and do interesting things. Porn is considered to be the last frontier of independent filmmaking. Once I figured out that is does have limits I lost interest and the drive just evaporated for me. In 2009, when the video and film industry crashed due to internet theft, sales plummeting, the Netflix effect, etc., all I could think about was getting back to Texas and starting a new direction. I am comfortable living in Texas because I am close to my family and life long friends.

Thanks to the relaxed southern lifestyle pace, I feel that am finally getting settled back into a creative rhythm again.
